Hello, friend. Welcome to the new year.
First lesson: you don’t need to wait for a fresh year to have a fresh start. Although it does feel like a good time, doesn’t it? Lets use it.
We’ve flipped the calendar and that means it’s time for a new word of the year.
As I’ve done in prior years, this one chosen word serves as a guide for me to focus on throughout the year. It will infuse various aspects of my life. It’s meant to improve who I am and how I show up in this world.
For 2020, I’ve chosen a word that’s been coming up for me for quite a while. However, it wasn’t until now that I felt like this word was a good fit.
2018 was the year of Resilience.
2019 was the year of Becoming.
2020 is the year to Flourish.

Flourish: grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment.
It is my intent to infuse this concept into all aspects of my life and to support others in doing the same. As a mother, a wife, an entrepreneur, a friend, and more, I will encourage those in my life to flourish, each in their own unique way.
A lot of times in life we can get comfortable and don’t make the ncessary changes to grown and reach our full potential. We forget to take the time for self care. We don’t put ourselves in a position to win.
Having spent much of the past few years of my life in transition, I’ve personally worked through the process of planting seeds, providing space and allowing time for all of my new endeavors to take root. It’s time now to focus on providing nourishment and watching the seedlings grow and flourish-in my life and in the lives of those around me.
FLOURISH my Mind, Body, Spirit, and Fortune.
Thanks for sharing. I’m big on speaking things into existence and know as a man thinketh so shall he be.
