Happy Wedding Tip Tuesday! I’m excited to bring a new series to the blog titled “Lit Life Wedding Chat”. In this spotlight I will feature Q&A from select Dallas and or Destination wedding professionals. For brides and grooms this should provide excellent insight into what to expect when hiring wedding professionals.

Why did you choose a career in the beauty industry?
I was born with a passion for the beauty industry. I knew when I was 5 years old I was going to be a successful hairstylist.
Describe your services that you provide for wedding clients?
I have a mobile hair and makeup agency with a large team of beauty professionals that caters to weddings and events.
What sets C.A.S Experience apart from other wedding beauty companies?
We cater to our client needs and concerns. On the wedding day our brides receive mini facials before their makeup service and are left with touch up bags to help them look flawless through out the day. We also have artists that specialize in all hair texture and skin tones.
What advice would you give to a couple when hiring a beauty vendor?
When picking a beauty vendor make sure they can provide photos of the type of look and style your going for. It’s very important to communicate with the artists about your concerns, wants, and expectations. Also be prepare to put down a deposit.
When your not working with brides, what do you do for fun?
Because some of the jobs I do outside of weddings can be interesting, I would consider that as having fun or going shopping with my kids.
Do you offer a bridal trial session? If so, what can the bride expect from this experience and how should she prepare?
Yes, we do offer bridal trials. For a hair trial, the client should shampoo her hair the night before and don’t put in any products unless they have natural or dry hair but less product as possible is better. It’s best to discuss your desire hairstyle and your hair texture before your trial. If you need to do a little blowout or straighten, that’s ok.
For a makeup trial, have a clean face but continue your daily skin-care routine. Don’t put on any makeup products before your trial. A clean face will hold makeup better. Please provide photos of your desire hair and makeup look for you and the artist can have a clear understanding.
